Join renowned glass artist Mary Van Cline and her team for a special experience with your private group. These all-inclusive, hands-on arts experiences can be personalized to meet your group’s goals, from team-building to celebrating an occasion. Examples include organizational retreats and trainings, youth enrichment and celebrations, and family, friend, and professional group gatherings.
All workshop options are suitable for beginners, with no previous experience necessary. Participants will learn the steps of kiln-cast glass art while creating their own beautiful final product. The glass studio can accommodate up to 35 participants.
Groups choose between two final-product options: each team member can make their own ~7”x7” project to take home, or the group can work together on a team project for display in a shared space. Groups completing a shared project coordinate with the instructor to customize project design and sizing. Groups can also optionally include a company logo in the piece.
Please note that closed-toe shoes and long pants are required in the studio, and that N95 dust masks may be required at times. Workshops take place in the artist’s waterfront studio 10 minutes from Interstate 5/West Olympia in the New Kamilche area. Finished glass work may be picked up after kiln firing is completed.
