For cancellations occurring more than 14 calendar days before the class start date, registration fees are refundable less a $20 administrative fee per order.
For cancellations occurring less than 14 calendar days before the class start date, registration fees are non-refundable.
At this time, we are unable to offer course credit, registration transfers to a different course, or registration transfers to another person.
This policy honors the time, energy, and resources invested in courses as the start date approaches and helps us minimize pressures to increase overall course costs.
Students who wish to cancel their enrollment for a class starting in more than 14 calendar days may do so by emailing info@arbutusfolkschool.org with student name and class title.
For class cancellations by the school, as for inclement weather, we will process a refund in full, and offer options to reschedule where possible and preferred.
If you are on the roster for a class and then decide not to attend, you may still receive emails that the instructor sends to the student list. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.

Essential Eligibility Criteria
Students must be able to see and perceive instructions and demonstrations by an instructor independently OR with the assistance of an attending companion. Students must be able to follow both verbal and non-verbal instructions given by instructors independently OR with the assistance of an attending companion. Students must have sufficient strength in hands and forearm to safely handle tools and equipment that could cause injury if not properly handled, OR with the assistance of an attending companion. Students must be able to address all personal needs (toileting, medication, hydration, etc.) independently OR with the assistance of an attending companion. If you will be attending with a companion, please notify our staff so the instructor can prepare a space for you to participate side-by-side.
