Arbutus Folk School In-Kind Needs
Thank you so much for your interest in supporting Arbutus Folk School with an in-kind donation!
Cash donations to Arbutus Folk School make the greatest impact because they give us the flexibility to meet our most pressing needs as they arise throughout our fiscal year. However, we are always in need of many tools, equipment, and odds n’ ends to support our programs. Amazing donations from community supporters have always been a cornerstone of our craft classes and residencies.
To ensure your items will be used to their fullest, we do screen donations and do not accept items that may find a better home elsewhere. Please do not drop off items without prior review and coordination by our staff. We look forward to learning about your item and have provided a simple form that you can fill out below (or here) to get started. Please contact us at info@arbutusfolkschool.org with any questions.
Below you will find a ‘wish list’ of items most needed by the school at this time. We developed this list because community members wanted to know what kinds of items make the greatest impact, and we are so grateful! We also welcome inquiries about items not on the list!
All donations to Arbutus Folk School are tax-deductible to the extent allowable by law, including in-kind donations of goods such as tools & equipment. Your donation will help us reduce costs to students, improve the quality and functionality of our studios, and spread the joy of craft in our community! Thank you!
